Trancranial Magnetic Stimulation (Coming Soon)Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of certain mental health disorders. Most TMS providers find that TMS has a success rate at between 70% or 80%, meaning that most individuals find significant relief after treatment. About 50% of people experience complete remission, meaning that the symptoms of depression are absent after just one course of treatment. · An alternative to antidepressants · Series of pulsed magnetic stimuli to the brain · FDA cleared for the treatment of MDD · FDA cleared for adjunct treatment of OCD · Non-invasive treatment – no anesthesia · Free from common antidepressant drug side effects · Does not affect cognitive function and is not to be confused with ECT (Electro Convulsive Therapy) · Patients are able to resume daily activities right after treatment · May be used with or without antidepressant (determined by physician) · For use in outpatient settings Learn More:

Ketamine TherapyKetamine therapy is a psychopharmacological approach to certain mental health disorder. It’s not entirely clear how ketamine works. Because it exerts an antidepressant effect through a new mechanism, ketamine may be able to help people successfully manage depression when other treatments have not worked. One likely target for ketamine is NMDA receptors in the brain. By binding to these receptors, ketamine appears to increase the amount of a neurotransmitter called glutamate in the spaces between neurons. Glutamate then activates connections in another receptor, called the AMPA receptor. Together, the initial blockade of NMDA receptors and activation of AMPA receptors lead to the release of other molecules that help neurons communicate with each other along new pathways. Known as synaptogenesis, this process likely affects mood, thought patterns, and cognition.

T.O.V.A. for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity DisorderThe Test of Variables of Attention, or T.O.V.A. for short, is a neuropsychological assessment that was created in the 1960s by Dr. Lawrence Greenberg . It measures the individual's ability to remain focused during a repetitive, boring task, and their ability to control their impulses during a more stimulating task. This test provides objective assessment to provide accurate diagnosis of ADHD and ADD. The test will be recommended during the initial psychiatric evaluation and may be repeated to assess whether designated treatment is effective in managing symptoms.
